These items are very much in demand by Goodwill shoppers:

Gently used Men's, Women's, and Children's clothing and shoes
Good condition housewares
Books
Good condition luggage
Collectables and jewelry
Furniture items
Working electrical items
Stuffed animals

We are also a state authorized e-waste collector.

If it has a power cord (excluding large appliances) we will take it, working or not.  If it is in working condition, we will sell it in our stores, if not, we will recycle the item through one of our California recyclers.  Either way, you get a tax deduction, help the environment and help fund our vocational services.

TV's, computer monitors, and computers are illegal to throw away, take them to Goodwill.

Sometimes we must decline a donation.

Goodwill would like to accept all donations. Unfortunately, some items cost more to handle or repair than we can sell them for in our Goodwill stores. When you donate to Goodwill, consider, ?Would I give this item to a friend or relative?? If the answer is yes, it is likely Goodwill can resell it to support our training programs.  Donations must be clean, no missing pieces or parts, no rips, tears or discoloration.

Goodwill must say "No Thank You" to:

Metal Office Furniture, Hard Wired Electrical, Toys, Chemicals, oils, toxic material, pesticides, infant car seats, cribs, mattresses, box springs, bed pillows, batteries, fluorescent light bulbs, waterbeds, hide-a-beds, all automotive products, all building materials, bicycle parts, venetian blinds or shutters, food items, magazines, gas powered yard tools, pianos/organs, large appliances
