The Careers in Retail (CiR) Initiative is a unique, free program designed to equip experienced, entry-level employees with the skills and credentials to advance to in-demand positions.  The program provides the training and support necessary to gain a middle skills/middle management position in retail, food and beverage and/or hospitality and tourism industries.

Participants are able to take assessments on general knowledge, retail skills and work ethic to create individual plans for growth, building on their strengths and assisting to improve their areas of weakness.  Participants receive training on content areas such as decision making, human resources and soft skills.

Goodwill will help place participants in middle skill positions in retail, hospitality and food service industries!
